Daisies

Some of my all time favorite flowers. Bec chose daisies for her wedding flower arrangements and I have loved them ever since!

Driftwood in the Sunset

We found this chunk of driftwood on the beach at Fort Flagler. The late afternoon sun gave it a soft reddish hue. The grass in the foreground provided the contrast I needed.

On Mill Lake

One of our favorite places to walk is Mill Lake. There are all sorts of water fowl to watch.

A Watchful Tabby

This cat was watching us quite closely as we walked past.

Summer Leaves

I found these leaves floating on a small stream and noticed that the rippling water was reflecting the blue of the sky.

Nordland Bay

Nordland Bay on Marrowstone Island is a very picturesque place. Sunset across the bay adds a special enchantment to it.

The Prairies

And then there is the wide open space of the Canadian Prairies. This was taken somewhere in the neighborhood of Carstairs, Alberta as Bec and I were enjoying camping "prairie style"!!
